I just got my renewal license plate sticker, and I'm irked. It's some laser printed tag, with an oversized piece of contact paper behind it. What gives? It looks like poo. I was wondering if the County Tax people here in Travis county are the only ones doing this...

Yeah, I got one of those too for my old toyota. What a piece of crap! I'd love to know who to complain to about them.

Ya, I dont like em either. Harder to put on and dont look as good.

Williamson County is doing it too man... I've got one of those suckers on my Caddy...

We should go for beers at some point dude... I'm in South East Round Rock off Gattis School and Red Bud Ln/FM685 Area...

This is the "Offical" new renewal you get in the mail. Yes, looks like garbage . However, some county offices do not have the technology to generate these yet. I went to one office the other day and reported it "lost in the mail" and the replacement was the traditional sticker verssion. Worth a try. Only $6 for a replacement.

If this dosen't work, I am going to experement with siome transparent two sided tape. Let me know if someone out there beats me to something that works.

Put one on my F-150 the other day......It looks like it came off and was stuck back on with a piece of shipping tape! Arrrgh! Whose bright idea was this?

Yeah I had to put one of these things on my wife's truck the other day. Looks like crap! When it comes time to put one on the MM, I figure I'll trim the clear tape down as close as I can and still have it stick. At least it won't look quite as bad..............

I have not mastered this picture thing, but I put one in my gallery. I got a block that said the pic was too large to upload. :( Darn computer is a lot smarter than I am! :rolleyes:

Who are you speaking to ? I live just a few miles south of Logan. :) Trying to beg momma for the time to go drink an adult beverage -- but hey, she let me go see the Round Rock Express tonight!! (Had to clean house for about 6 hours today though.):mad:

I live just a few miles south of Logan. :) Trying to beg momma for the time to go drink an adult beverage -- but hey, she let me go see the Round Rock Express tonight!! (Had to clean house for about 6 hours today though.):mad:

Hey, since Petrograde and I are just a few minutes up the road, we need to get together somewhere around Leander or exit 252A on I-35!

I have not seen any of you guys since MV1 and it would be cool to hang out at a parking lot of choice and make plans for the trip to MV3...

I am good almost any Friday or Saturday night! How about it?

It sounds like you are planning to go to MVIII--I plan to join up with 4-5 MMs coming from the West coast--same group I went with to Indy---it was a blast :banana: I sure would like to know who else from the TX,LA,ARK,OK, are planning to go--we need to get a convoy going--I'm very flexible on departure time and route--if we can't set anything up, I plan to meet the West Coast gang in Des Moines, IA--I'll start a thread tonite :lol: Maury

I won't be able to make it to MV3 this year. but I wouldn't mind seeing some familar faces. I usually work saturdays,.. so a sunday would work for me.
