View Full Version : Lidio's Widened Rims + Nitto = Good Stuff

A couple weeks back, I ordered a new set of widened rims from Lidio and a new set of Nitto's for all four wheels. Although I didn't get the Drag Radials, instead got:

Nitto 555 Street Radials
fronts: 245/45 ZR18 100W
rears: 295/45 ZR18 112W

I went and had them mounted and balanced this morning, and then went out for a spin. "WOW" These are great!

Next to a supercharger, this is quite possible the best upgrade you can do for a Marauder. With the stock BFG's, my car always rode rough. It would "bounce" inside and cause rattles, etc. These Nittos' give it a much softer ride, almost like another car. Of course, they really improve traction too, they really grip!

I have them filled with 35psi right now, but I may lower it to 32psi to see the difference.

I strongly recommend this upgrade to anyone looking for a better ride and traction.

I have another set of rims that I will be dropping off at Lidios on Wednesday. I should have done this mod along time ago!

I'll second that! I have had the 245/45s on the front for a week now and I will pick up my widened wheels at Lidio's shop on Wednesday. I couldn't get them here in time for the drive to Michigan for MVIII, but I will get them mounted up there!

I will have the widened wheels and Nittos with ZERO miles on them by the time anyone sees my car during all the festivities... Woo Hoo!

I agree with you that this simple mod makes a huge difference in the look of the car from the rear. Definitely worth the money!
