No, it color shifted. It's a bright red as opposed to a dark red, but is definitely red.

S55 was a model number for an old Marauder. It was revived for the prototype 03 Marauder. Many feel it should have kept this designation.
Further, the prototype (as usual) had some features that did not make it to production. Some owners try to emulate these features to come closer to the prototype.
