Our pattern does include provision for a grommet on the drivers mat (this is optional in that it can be included or left out). We would like to obtain a picture of the driver mat so we can see what they look like and evaluate how close our grommet appears to that used in the original mats. So, if anyone can provide us with a picture, we would very much appreciate it.

Yes, we do the Red Binding. It is done much nicer than the photo shown. We use a surging technique in which the dupont tuflin yarn is surged around the floormat in a very thick, one inch dimension. This is the same yarn in its raw form that is used to weave the carpeted section of the floormat. For a complete explaination of our floormat construction please see the link below. It may be good to take a moment and look through some of the floormat example under specific vehicle types to validate your requirements.

CAR Motorsports Custom Embroidered Floormats are normally sold in a four(4) piece set for a four door vehicle. You may however order just the front floormats. Due to the significant upgrade in quality and appearance, we do advise you consider the four piece set for seamless integration rather than the visual disconnect that a lessor quality rear set would provide. I would recommend against ordering ONLY the Two(2) Piece Front Set of Floor Mats, for the reason that the rear mats you presently have will look out of place due to highly inferior quality and appearance. Got my mats from CarMotorSports and am extremely happy! Got great customer service too! Had calls from Alan and Rich who explained various options and helped me with my order. Will try to get a digital picture to show everybody soon. Got them in light gray with red borber on the edge around the carpet. Got the 7 color Mercury God's head on all four mats and it really stands out. Got the word Marauder lengthwise in Red with Black etching around each letter. The colors look fabulous with the Light Flint interior. The mats are almost identical color to seats. Really dresses the interior up. Very heavy mats versus the tissue paper originals. Saved the original though for rainy and snowy days. Can't stand the thought of dirtying new ones. Total cost with shipping was $ 235.95 and worth every penny. :cool:

I'd love to get these but at 32K miles am on my second set of mats! I tend to wear holes right through the carpet with my right heel. Of course the ones I have had are pretty thin stuff... I have a bunch of other stuff from CM and it is all great quality.

I use my original MM mats only for car shows.... no shoes have ever touched them. It's cheaper to geta pair of $20.00 mats from K-Mart or Wally World to use as everyday matts.
