I was just in Moscow for a couple of days, and happened to see a Police Crown Victoria!
It was the only one, most of their cars are Lada's, with many Audi A8's, BMW 745i's, Mercedes S500's...but that's another story (The $80k car police force!)
Don't ask me how this car ended up so far away from home :)

Looks like it was bought used and repainted with the cyrillic (sp?) writing. I bet it's an auction vehicle from the US - not suprising given the state of the Russian economy.
How is Moscow these days? Still giving everyone dysentery? :lol:

I think it was one of the guys who does those Police Chase shows. He set up a deal to send 25-50 used CVPI's from the US to them for a good price. They beat them up pretty good, so I don't know how many they have left.

You know the director of the cop shows recently passed away...fell off a Cliff on the Pacific coast and was never recovered....Name was something like Paul Stonavich(SP)

- field producer for the long running show COPS and the creator of the reality TV series World's Wildest Police Videos.
His body was identified on an Oregon beach in mid April.
