Radiator Filling?

I replaced my radiator, someone told me at work, I should fill the radiator then the resovoir, other people tell me the resovoir only, and some people say do both 2 and then fill my crossover tube. I have no clue, I always thought just fill the resovoir and off I go, then bleed from the crossover tube. Well, which is it?
