If your grammar skills are an indicator of your driving skills, you may want to re-think turning the governor off. ;) Sorry, couldn't help myself.

If you expect to be doing a lot of driving at those speeds, you might want to search on the word "driveshaft" here on mm.net.

Just drive up too Mustang Specilitys in Pompano Beach and have them remove it. Call them first. They have all of Scott Beers tunes also . He is the guy who tuned alot of the south florida guys cars.

Great question ... I had a '99 Crown Vic and '99 Grand Marquis both running Hypertech. Raised the speed limiter from 110 MPH to 140 MPH and average 22 MPG in-town and 25 MPG on highway both cars. Each had over 190K miles at trade-in.

I sold the Crown Vic with the programmer to adopt the '03 Marauder. As we replaced the '99 Marquis with a '00 (only 23K miles), it won't accept the Hypertech programming. So, I've plugged it into the Marauder. Appears I'm getting 16 MPG in-town and 22 MPG on highway. Of course, I'm sure I can do better if I wasn't driving like a banshee on fire. Shift points are kind of stiff. Going to get in touch with Hypertech to check out other settings. Raised speed limiter to 255 MPH. You must enter the rear tire size correctly otherwise it will be off. Found out the hard way. Good thing I have a GPS with which to compare my speedometer.

Any opinions on the Aero Turbine 2525?
