This really sucks to hear about this! Especially about a new member. What exactly went wrong?

I can't really say yet, my guess is a rod came loose and maybe crank broke. I can't see the hole, just chunks of aluminum in the DS motor mount.
I was running pump gas but I did like 3 hot laps and was pushing it for all it had and it just left.....Just as I was going through the lights.
Fortunately we were the last 2 cars running for the day so I didn't hold anyone else up.

Ed's motor would be the one to get. Built by Al Papitto of Boss 330 racing. He does things right. I have his motor as well. IMO you cannot go wrong.
