so yeah, my less than a year old car (06 impala 9c1) got totaled out.
Flooded out up to the mirrors thanks to the flooding around here. My mom was driving the car, turned a corner, a manhole cover came up shooting water and flooded the street
Im in a sour mood, not going to lie.
Ugh, this sucks.

Thats my white impala. Sad too, just got the holes fixed and resprayed and the car to where I like it.

Now the search is on for a marauder.... no ******** this time.

Whoa. Sorry to hear it, hopefully your mom is okay? Cause that looks like a lot of freakin water she had to wade thru to get to high ground.

You should probably get the rare pontoon option on the Marauder if you can find it.

Sorry to hear about your car man. Make sure to tell the insurance company about that work you need to it! Maybe get a couple extra bucks out of them!

Update if anyone cares:
State farm just settled for a hair above 10 grand. There was some issue as NADA has NO squad car values for my car because it shows a demo pic of a 05 and i guess alot of stuff was saying my car was only worth 4 grand, but due to newer body style it is not.

Waiting to grab the check sometime within the next few days.

I have a small bill or two to pay off relating to this car, hopefully after this it will be marauder time :)

Based on your luck with cars (wrecked CV, flooded Impala) maybe you should look at cars besides the MM?

Yeah, the CV was a drunk driver, the Impala was a freak flashflood and if the impala was a MM it would have never been out of the garage.

I had NO control over the two of these and I am moving anyway so I have to deal with less jackass drivers.

Can you explain in more detail how this happened?

Did she borrow your car, parked it and then found out what happened or did she drive into the water?

Must be me, but I'm lost here.
