Found this on sale yesterday at BestBuy.

My experience with setting up these machines for customers have been extremely positive with all 3 performing flawlessly!

The cheapest I have seen this machine was last year at $469.00.

You can get it now at BB for $379.99 + tax.

If anyone is in the market for a new laptop with Windows 7, jump on it.

BB shows this machine as a single core due to their SKU detail being inaccurate, where in fact, it is a dual core.

Happy shopping!

:D

I bought this laptop last year (Of course at the higher price) and I love it. It performs flawlessly, is quick, has a quick boot up and overall is a great computer, especially for the price

I heard you get charged extra for tech support with Dell, is this true?

Nope.

Not during the warranty timeframe.

If you call tech support, is it someone you can understand? I need a new home computer, but I'll take a less better computer if the top of the line brand jams me with tech support people who speak broken English.

Hit and miss on getting someone that speaks English or not.

Dell Tech. support is much better than HP. That I can assure you.

You can always call me for direction if you like.

Most of the machines I support at the office are in fact Dell.

;)

I'll have to google that one, but I have to upgrade soon. Crappy old HP is maxed out and runs slow, now it's messing up my picture posting capabilities. Hence, no pics from my TN to Chicago run.

Just curious...

What percentage savings off retail price for friends/family?

I have always liked the Thinkpad line.
