Also Would anyone agree that if doing the S55 Taillight treatment, Crown Victoria tailights and reverse Lights should be used because they aren't tinted, The MM light are darker and won't look as good painted, and IMHO won't pop as well as crown vic lights would. Crown vic lights are the same and should install without any problems right? Are the reverse lights complicated to remove?

This is the original S55 concept car that the tail lights are based off of. The reverse lights are tinted. As far as the tail lights go, it's hard to tell from this picture. If you do want to use the Crown Vic lights, they will mount directly to your car. You decide.

Too bad Mercury did not match the quality of paint on the production models....:shake:

I wonder what happened to that S55 concept car? What did Ford do with it? Who has it now?

Just do the S55 with original Marauder Taillights and reverse lights you wont regret it. However I dont like how the S55 treatment looks like on non spoilered Marauders. I dont know if its just me but it looks so muchhh better with the spoiler.

DOOM has told me many times he thinks the S55 treatment looks the best on a SB because the contrast between silver and red works well. I've had a mix of people ask if they were factory and where could they get those light covers at. LOL
