    5th Annual Bert's Run

OK, here we go… April is approaching so it’s time for the 5th Annual Bert’s Run. The date has been adjusted to accommodate a few members with date conflict’s which I’m sure will create a few more. Sorry, but you all know how that goes. The key is to pick a day that minimizes the conflicts and go with it.

Each year’s meet is bigger than the last. We’ve always had great turnouts, even in last year’s treacherous storm. We didn’t have much time outside with our cars but that gave us more time to enjoy the ice cream social. Let’s hope for go weather like the previous events.

Please post up with your intentions. Are you coming? How many in your pit crew?

Look forward to seeing everyone again!

    PLACE: Bert's 50's Diner
LOCATION: 28760 Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD

    DAY/DATE: Sunday, 19 April 2009
    TIME: 2pm / 1400

DASH PLAQUES FOR THE FIRST 50 CARS!

Might be able to pull it off. I'll check with my co-pilot. Sounds like fun!

To go for lunch? How long do you think that will take to live down

Seriously though, I almost didn't make it through a movie the other day. No way could I even consider a 6-7 hr drive. Maybe next year. Even Carlisle is up in the air right now. Should know more tomorrow.

Chris and I drove to Boston one year just for lunch. Returned home during the blizzard of the year; drove over the GW Bridge, which had been closed, and spent the night in NJ.
