Purchasing a Marauder in the near future.

I plan on purchasing a Marauder by the end of the summer once I pay off my current vehicle, I was just curious and figured I'd ask if there is anything specific to look for when buying a used MM? I've owned Crown Victorias, Continentals and a Town Car and I have been very satisfied with the reliability and performance of them. I've always wanted to own one, now that I have a steady income its going to happen in the near future. Im just looking for tips before I commit, thank you.

There good cars. The main and costly thing that's wrong with these cars are tires they wear quicker then normal and are at least 170 a pop. Where are you in sc if your near Columbia you won't have to worry about anything. And I will get you the best deal on one

    MM Buyers checklist:

LCM (Light Control Module): Make sure headlight stay on for more than 15+mins.
Paint: Check all painted surfaces to see if there's "measles".
Windshield Wipers: Make sure that all funtions of the wipers work A-OK
Wheel Bearings: Make sure there's no leaking at the axle hubs.
Rear Differential: Make sure there's no leaking at the pinion bearing (tail shaft seal).
Radio: Make sure stock radio is on for more than half an hour and doesn't start to do funky things.
EATC (Electronic Automatic Temperature Control Module): Make sure the air conditioning and heater vents all work.
BCM (Blower Control Module): Make sure A/C-Heater blower works.
Window Switches: Check all window switches.
Adjustable Pedals: Make sure these work.
Heated Seats: Check funtionality if car has them.
Floormats: If it doesn't have originals in good shape, drop offer $300+.

    Anything else guys???

Heck, nice list. I think that sums up just about everything. I would add if the oil gauge is real it might be a good idea to check on the sending unit for no leak.

Yeah, but, I'm really trying to stick to things are are specific to our cars. IE: If someone doesn't get under any car they're looking to buy and look for leaks, check fluids, listen for odd noises while driving, you should have soemone with you that knows cars or take it to a trustworthy mechanic for inspection. If anyone thinks otherwise, I'll be more than happy to add in generalities.
