Looking for Better tread life than the OEM’s

Guys, it’s time for new tires I have an 03 with no traction control. Currently I have the OEM’s and I only got about 20k out of them and I don’t even drive aggressively, really I don’t. I looked through the old threads and the tire buying guide (great job) and most of the talk is about performance I’m look for tread life, suggestions?

The Cooper ZEON RS3-A’s seem like they might fit the bill.

    Front
    Zeon 235/50/R18

    Rear
    Zeon 245/55/R18

    Thoughts?

I had the Coopers installed a couple months ago. I like 'em so far...have only put about 2k miles on them, so don't know about tread life yet. Came out $100 cheaper than BFGs, too. Whatever brand/type you do end up buying, make sure the fronts are aligned to carfixer's specs. Seems Coopers or Nittos are becoming a popular alternative to BFGs.

255 Goodyear Eagle LS2's are holding up really good for me on the back wheels, the OEM BFG's burned down really fast on the 1-2 wheelspin. I'll be sticking with LS2's for awhile.

Nittos all the way......I'm never lookin back.....

    555 in front
    420 in back

Excellent ride & handling which should have been on all Rauders from the factory.

And of course Carfixers alignment specs!

Unless mistaken, Nitto 420/555's are not "all weather" tires.

Mine are good on water and dry conditions but not meant for cold/snow.

Choose your tires wisely, if your Marauder is a DD and your geographical area sees cold/snow conditions.

    Thanks for the reminder.

Take a look at Hankooks. Got the Ventus on my rear and the treadwear is 420.

    Just remember treadwear is relative....

    NT555's on the front

    Grabber UHP's on the rear

Pleased with wear and performance from both.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going with the Coopers as they are an all weather tire and she is my daily driver.

Yeah BFGs don't last at all. I actually liked them though - I felt the car rode better - Zero "shudder". Currently have Nitto 555's - Got them based on opinions here. Affordable, look great - Put 265/50 on rear - Almost identical height compared to stock. It will be a few years before I know about tread life. I live north and it's my DD so i have a set of snows for the winter.
