Thumbs up Washing Brush used on Marauder

I've been kinda in poor health lately...Hard to reach and bend up & down... (getting better though).......but I gotta wash my Marauder..
Researched and read a lotta stuff and decided to buy the "Griot's" Boars Hair Brush and Handle...$89.99...$$$.
It worked great, but it's heavy... handle is made from steel pipe...
I'm going to make my own aluminum handle and I think it will be much better and easier to use...I would only recommend using this on a well waxed and polished finish... at this time no signs of brush marks, but I'm keeping a close eye on the finish ...
Hope someone may find this helpful..
