So this Jerry guy wanted to race me

He's got two Marauders....this was back in July 2001......so Jerry dyno tunes my Vic, then we race, me vs his Marauder.

I won. Marauders are slow.........how you like my story

Well pal if you raced a marauder in 2001 it must have been an old one. Like 1970 or older that should have dusted you. How do you like the truth

Kind of scary, when thinking of the scale. Makes one think that maybe it'd be a good idea to do some introspection and think about what each of us needs to do to build a solid community, analyze what it is we're all honestly looking for by belonging to this community.

RC, isn't it amusing how they throw the BS flag and seem to have no idea who Jerry is

The 2V has much more low end torque than the 4V. But in stock form, a Marauder will kill a P-71 (Police Interceptor). Paul's car has strongly ported and polished heads and was personally tuned by the same person who tunes the Marauders. And the same brains behind many of the aftermarket chips here. Pauls car make more power than the Marauder peaks at and has much more low end torque.

Take a looky at his dyno graph

But Paul, you didn't tell the story very well... I'm one of the lucky ones that remembers it from when I happened.

Marauders (and Blackhawks) were talked about being planned when I bought my GM in 2000. If one was out then, I would have one today. I expect 8 years service out of my car and then I'll get one.

Like I wrote, BS. He did NOT run against a Marauder. It is one thing to run against a prototype, another thing to have a go at a production line unit.

I wouldn't suggest you run any of the mod'ed cars from this board. You will be very unpleasantly surprised at how little it takes to turn a stock MM into a true beast.

Your CV is nice, very nice. But it would not be able to keep tracks with MANY of the only slightly mod'ed MMs. That is, assuming, that your tagline with E.T. is true and accurate and you haven't put any kind of boost on the breathing end.

    How little do they know

I don't believe the prototype marauders are any different from the stock 2003 Marauders in terms of performance.

In fact, I dinstinctly remember a few of the ppl who worked on the Marauder project contemplating going back to a 2V 4.6 w/ mods similar to Paul's TurboVic
