If the front of your Marauder is lowered at all, it is harder to meet the carfixers specs. The factory camber bolts only allow so much movement, The SPC ones requires air grinding a slot inthe control arm for the offset cams on the bolts to allow more camber adjutment..Mine is lowered inthe front 3/4 of a coil.

There is a install video here. You can buy them for around $30 each from summit, tirerack, amazon, and not necessarily spc direct

My black car was lowered and could not meet any specs. I did the SPC install myself and it has some adjustment to spare. My DTR also was wearing the inner tread with the factory specs. I had Carfixers specs done and have had no further problems. Just my two cents worth.

I have the same wear problems in front. 15k and the tire is gone on the inside. Because I live in Switzerland and no shop has ever seen or touched a Merc I decided to keep the original allignment. Tried to prevent making it even worse in the end. But now I'm so annoyed by that and want to fix it. Will the often quoted masterspecs also work with my Eibach Pro-Kit springs?

The bolts will not get your car into spec James. It's way too low to hit the mark unfortunately

You need the SPC camber bolts since your car is lowered. Factory camber doesn't allow for much adjustment. The SPC bolts require airgrinding/airfiling a slot in the lower control arm to allow for more camber movement.

You can see a install video here

Thanks for your helpful reply RubberCty. I try to get my hands on these bolts maybe as a winter project.

I like your Weißbirke Plünderer title btw.

SPC bolts can be purchased thru summit racing., tirerack.com, and thru amazon.com. And also SPC. Not sure the shipping for where you are. And thanks for the thumbs up on my saying with my avatar. Nobody has ever asked about it, yet alone know what it means.

I went back to the alignment shop and it turns out that the alignment was out by over 1 degree.(toe out I think)

The shop believes it was an issue with their alignment equipment which was recently repaired.

To my surprise they ordered two new Nitto 555's to match my rears and will be installing them at no charge with a new alignment and an apology.

Meh... spec is another story... better than -2.0 degrees would be nice on camber. Lower it will go and stay at -2.0 if that's all I can get!!!

Awesome that the shop stepped up and gave you new tires!

    ask LJI372 about that HEHEHE
