    Smile J-MOD Questions

Hi guys I have some questions about Jmod if you please could help me with it.

First how to conform that the car is already J-MODed or not ?
Because the gear shifting in my car when I bought it, it fell fast and the tire spin in the 2nd shifting and pull strong in the 3rd
I dunno if this is because of the tuning or it's already J-MODed ?

How to know ? is there's a way to check it ? or the only way is to open the body valve and see the holes ?

If not J-MODed, then I want to do it !!

Can I order an already J-MODed gaskets ? so I can put it in the valve body and conform the holes that need drilling ?

I kinda know the different between the Jmod and the trans kit, but can I do both mod ?

Lastly is J-MOD is the same as this VIDEO

    THANNNNKXX million guys

The only way to know is to drop the valve body and check the holes.

It would still be hard to tell with out taking the valve body out and checking the holes for the J-mod sizes.

True, but he may have some specific "tells" that are easier to look for...

If the OP is spining in 2nd gear the tranny is on it's way out, has the J-Mod or the tune has the pressure jacked up.

yeah, I already sent him a PM, no response yet.

As already mentioned, no real way to tell if Jmod has been done with out pulling the valve body and looking at the holes in the separator plate.

For the harsh 1-2 shift, it could be a broken or removed lower 1-2 accumulator spring, or some mystery tune where the pressure is too high. It could also be a stuck and/or binding pressure regulator valve in the valve body.

again, no way to tell until the valve body is removed.

Thank you guys for trying hard to tech a newbe guy here

What I now that j-mod is not only drilling holes !! it's also removing the springs too right?

I saw that in the j-mod video

Please correct me if I'm wrong... if the wheel is spining in the 2nd is that mean something wrong with the trans ?

Maybe there's something wrong with my trans because the 2nd shifting is harsh and fell like the car want to jump this is happening while i'm normally driving not WOT

I now my english is bad and my description is worse but what to do

Sorry guys I wish in my country we have an expert people just like you guys.

I feel skeptical too because the trasmissions technicians here don't know anything about "J mod" And I worry that they screw up And damage the separator plate And other parts, I Was thinking in use a shift kit but the experts here And the creator of the "J Mod" Jerry Wroblewski do not recomend the use of any shift kit with more attention to the Trans Go brand shift kit so i'm confused about what to do to make more stronger And long lasting transmission ???

Why are you confused? We already said to do the J-Mod. Instructions are very easy to find and you can do it while the car is on jack stands and your on your back....... All you need are two gaskets, hand tools, filter and fluid.

The J-Mod won't make the tranny stronger, but it will last longer. To make it stronger you need upgraded internal parts.
