Ill take some pictures tonight. Ill agree the hi beam doesnt have a huge difference from the lo but they dont burn anywhere near as hot and i modified my dust covers to allow the wires to come through but they are still sealed.
I think you installed HIDs, not LEDs....

The wires aren't the problem. The cooling required by the LED bulbs is the problem as I see it. Every decent LED headlight bulb I've seen has a big cooling fan on the rear end. I'd assume that cooling fan need to be exposed to some airflow out the back of the headlight assembly. If you keep the cooling fan inside the headlight assembly there is no way to keep the bulb cool.

Interesting, I was not aware LED headlights were ready for prime time. As far as fan cooling, that is a guaranteed point of failure and not particularly desirable. Unless they do one heck of a job on an automotive-grade fan, and you know how likely that is with the aftermarket

There are two types of LED headlight bulbs:
This style are the best ones... only ones I'd consider using.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3200LM-Cree-...c98c25&vxp=mtr
The cheaper ones are like this... I'd never use these.. you'd be better off doing HIDs.

As you can see the first type has a cooling fan. Eventhough most of the bulbs meet the IP65 weatherproof spec, what happens when the fan dies or some crap gets lodged in the fan? Keep the fan sealed in the headlight housing will cause the bulbs to burn out quicker since you'd be trying to cool the bulb with increasing hot air.
