Search function

Having issues using the search function with my Samsung galaxy 4 tablet, anyone else have this issue with android operating system.

When I click the Search feature and before I can type anything it closes on me. I have a few questions and wanted to use search before starting a thread.

I have the same issue on my Galaxy S5. Never been able to search.

I've never been able to search from my phone, nor my tablet. I get around this by just searching from Google.
Enter your search like this:

<whatever you're searching for>site:mercurymarauder.net

For example...one of my favorite search terms last year:

Blue smoke site:mercurymarauder.net

Doing that brings up search results from this site only. It even pulls up archived threads.
