Just a reminder about the tour of the Ford Truck Plant on Friday!!!!!

All individuals touring the plant must first be willing and able to comply with the following requirements:
    1) Tour participants must be physically able to complete a walking tour of approximately one (1) hour.
    2) Participants must follow all plant rules including:
Safety Video: We will watch a safety video before beginning the tour which will go over some of the below items in more detail.
Plant Floor Requirements: Safety vests and Safety glasses are required whenever you go out into the plant. If you wear eye glasses, they are not adequate unless they specifically have a Z-87 safety rating. You should wear clear Z-87 safety glasses (non-tinted) over your eye glasses if your eye glasses are not Z-87 rated. Body, Paint, Stamping and the Tire Room each have more specific protective equipment but our tour will not enter these areas.
Pedestrian walkways: Stay within the painted walkways as you walk throughout the plant. Cut across the assembly lines where the green areas are painted on the floor. Do not enter in areas painted red on the floor. Only exit the building through pedestrian doors (not door intended for vehicles).
Powered vehicles: You must observe the following Powered Material Handling Vehicle (PMHV) safety guidelines:
Always observe the 2 foot rule no one within 2 feet of the vehicle while it is running
Make eye contact with drivers to confirm who has the right-of -way
Cell phones and Radios: Talking on cell phone when in motion is strictly prohibited.
Participants may not touch or operate plant tools, vehicles, or equipment.
    3) Vehicle parking: Restricted to Ford products only (Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda). If you drive a non-Ford product, you must park at Gate 0 in the area designated for non-Ford vehicles.
    4) Dress Code: KTP has a casual dress code.
No high-heeled or open toed shoes are allowed.
    5) Photographs: Guests are not allowed to take photographs or videotape without advanced, signed approval by the HR Manager.
    6) Participants must follow all instructions given by the Tour Guides.

    Knob Creek Gun Show

Knob Creek Gun Range 690 Ritchey Lane West Point, KY 40177

The Knob Creek Gun shoot will be going on from April10th-12th. Most guns that you can imagine and I'm sure some you can't will be there. You cane rent or bring your own. For those not wanting to do the Waverly Tour after the Ford Truck Plant this is a real good show to see. They are open from 9am-6pm. Admission is $15 for adults and children under 12 are $5. I did not know this was happeneing at the same time as the meet or I would have made accomodations for this. Maybe next year. But since the Waverly Tour is an individual tour and no group number is needed I thought I would throw this out there.

This will be an unnofficial event so it will be on an individual basis so no official guide will be done.

As a side note, for any that attend please let me know if this will affect your attendance to the Shogun restaurant. Thank you and enjoy!!!!

That's my local car club. It is always mobbed and always a good time, but quite a distance (30 miles) from the Hotel.

Are those highway or city miles? Either way I'm game.
