    And it's a panther trans, not a mustang with different ratios. Buy a mustang tune and see how it is

    Yes you are correct now that I think about it, although I upgraded my mid pipes to mandrel bent stainless first - I kept the exact same factory mount points, so when I bought the MAUCAT longtube header kit they bolted right on. Did the job myself too. (14 hours )

    Seems like their catback should bolt on but it doesn't. They should change that.

    To the OP - Nice Mach1's got any timeslips??

    4r70 is a 4r70, they use the same transmission ratios:

    Gear ratios for the 4R70W are:

    1st = 2.84
    2nd = 1.55
    3rd = 1
    4th = .70

    also, mach 1 rears and marauder rears...both 3.55's

    I actually modify, race, build cars and have a performance business...im not your entry level person here.

    the first mach was pretty much stock...hater a shifter and can tune and cats removed...went 13.0 @ 109 on a street radial

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY-xymT0dvU

    The supercharged mach went to the track once but the tr3650 piece of junk wouldnt shift into 3rd at WOT with the slicks on.

    Lightning went 12.99 on stock tires with ported blower (I ported it), 6lb lower and tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L61HyI_mj0w

    The white mach was a 4r70 car...stock minus welded in flowmasters...never tracked it.

    I ended up putting a GT500 shortblock in the lightning with a stock top end, added e85, converter and 2 pounds more boost ant went 12.09 first time out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xXpXFb_ke8

    Had easy 11's in it, but before I got to the track again I sold it for:

    17psi, whipple, exhaust...580 rwhp...miss this car all the time.

    not a problem. ya, they're a little heavier, but you wont make hardly any changes tune-wise to them...what gives you a good power curve as far as a tune goes is good for any vehicle to ET no matter the weight.

    you do want to make sure and hit it with a little extra timing down low in the rpm range...helps get it moving and fairly safe since cylinder pressures are lower and rpm stress is less.

    They will work, you just have to weld in a few inches of pipe to get it to be long enough. I have one on mine w/ x-pipe and Magna Flow mufflers. Had FlowMasters but some of the baffling broke loose and they were making a noise at idle that made my car sound trashed and not maintained, they had to go. By the way check my vehicles...U might like them.
