    Marauder rear tires

Looking for replacement 245/55ZR18s for the rear of our 2003 Marauder. Currently running BFG T/A G Force KDWS, which are apparently no longer produced. Has anyone any luck with replacements that don't require you to turn off the Traction control, and won't screw up odometer & speedometer? We are in Port Richey Florida at present.

Rears can easily be sized up to 255's with no issures and there are lot's of choices. If you want the 245's check out Cooper RS3-A, Nitto Motivo, Firestone Wide Oval.

Cooper RS3-A. Have them in all 4 corners; probably the best tires I've ever had on a car. And mine's driven daily year round; great wet or dry; even in snow.
    Current cars:

    2003 Marauder (*mostly* all original)
2020 Kia Niro Hybrid (wife’s car & our commuter)

Previously owned a 2004 DTR and a 2003 DBP…and 76 other vehicles but we don’t have time to list all that.

With stock rims, I like my Nitto 265 50 18's in the rear. But, I hear that depends on what kind of weather your car will see. Mine see's some very occasional rain, but mostly sun!

I've had the OEM BFG KDWS (245), Nitto 420S (255), General Grabber UHP,(255) Falken Ziex 912 (255), Hankook Ventus ST (295 on widened rims), and Nitto Motivo (255) tires on the rear of my marauders.

By far the best tire is the Nitto Motivo

The worst tire was the General Grabber UHP (weak sidewalls).

Second best I would have to say was the Falken.

Hankook Ventus ST wear like iron and have tbe best looking tread.
