    Best SC option

Now that the last known (on this forum at least) Trilogy kit has been sold, what is the next best option for my all stock MM? I was looking through the Eaton swap thread, but man 36 pages of comments is a bit much to absorb.

I have this kit available locally, but don't even know enough if it would fit my stock engine. It says it's for a 2v.

What is the best way to get up to speed on SC for the MM?

start collecting the parts for the eaton swap it should not be that hard to find the parts for the swap lji372 (jerry) makes the brackets top notch quality
What you linked is a 2v setup

Asking this question on these forums is opening a can of worms, everyone has a different opinion on centri vs positive displacement. I would say if you are serious about doing it, it is worth reading all 36 pages of eaton swap goodness to know what you are getting into, and then read all the procharger/vortech etc threads and get a sense of what you may want. Many of us prefer the more stock-looking setup of an eaton or trilogy, and the low-end torque produced where these heavy cars can use it.

That kit you posted, looks like some of the stuff would work, such as the intercooler, supercharger, water pump, heat exchanger... But the injectors, lower intake, timing cover(not needed) would be a waste.

    Good Luck.

No but of someone wants to pony up the $20k or so on the motor and blower alone, we will take a shot at it!

    ^^^what ChiTownMaraud3r said^^^

Neither setup is "better"...it all depends on the results you're trying to achieve. Eaton may be better at off the line launches for a heavy car while centrifugal can have better top-end power. A lot depends on boost level and tuning as well.

For the money you're going to spend, I agree that reading all the available info will help you decide which is right for you.

I will of course make it through all those posts.... problem I had first go round is it assumes you have some basic knowledge. I'l invest the time and come back with questions.

When you say the intercooler, do you mean both of these items:

    - Tork Teck inter cooled supercharger kit. $ 2350
    - Aluminum inter cooler reservoir $240

Tork Teck doesn't make stuff that marauders use..Nobody has ever mentioned tork tech stuff here, stick with what is posted here. An eaton swap is going to cost $3500-4000 for parts alone, not including install and dyno tuning and an SCT unit.

My ProCharger shouldn't have any issue motivating this little sedan off the line! Eatons are cute though!

Either way, tomato/tomoto, as long as it's better than stock!
