I think you should be able to re-install the new hook, though I haven't done it myself. Probably someone who did may want chime in and tell us how it's done.
Any hook from another Crown Vic or Grand Marquis should work, I believe.

I think this is the part that you need. It's the floor mat retainer for a Grand Marquis, but it should work for our cars:
