Door lock actuator

My driver side door lock actuator has started acting up. sometimes it locks sometimes it doesn't.
I was just wondering if the actuators on all foor doors were the same part number that way i could buy one and replace my intermitent one and possibly fix the old one for the next door lock the breaks.

Check with the dealer to see if part # is the same for all doors.

In order to replace the actuator, the latch has to be loosened.

The front doors are the same p/n yw7z-54218a42-a, and the rear doors use
p/n f8az-5426594-a.

I have the same problem. Have not got around to looking at it yet, but it sure is a pain to keep an eye on it to see if your door is locked or not. The door was left unlocked a couple of times that I forgot to check, and luckily nobody noticed.
Could it be that the linkages require lubrication? It could be, since the driver's door gets the most use. MM has about 45k miles.

Thanks for the help. I haven't had a problem with them locking or unlocking since i posted, go figure.
I know i will have to change them one day.

The latch screws are posidrive, not Philips. Use a PZ3 bit or dedicated driver.

I saw a video where the guy used an impact driver. I didn't find that necessary. I'll admit I couldn't find my PZ3 bit, so I used a PZ2 which worked, but the PZ3 fit perfectly.
