shiny intake and cam cover bolts

Any suggestions on what bolts to use for the intake and cam covers? I was thinking of button head allens for the cam covers, and 12-point for the intake. Stainless of course, links welcome.

I guess I asked for it, but $120

Maybe I'll just put a stainless washer under the Allen bolt.

You were warned long ago about the 'real' engine rebuild cost. Time for the weekend second job at an auto parts store.

I was, and I paid the price because I love the Marauder. But I don't need to buy $120 worth of cam cover inserts, there is a cheaper way that still looks good.

For $120 I rebuilt the 140K mile starter motor instead.

I used SS button head Allens for my upper/lower intake bolts

Cam cover bolts were painted same color as cam covers

IIRC Totally Stainless sells them, but I'm not sure whether you have to buy their whole Mod motor set.

That looks nice! Do you recall what coolant crossover you used in the rear?
