Are you seriously asking this question?

Not just no but HELL no.
No comparison at all. My M5 at 150 is quieter and smoother than the Marauder at 75. It gets there effortlessly with minimal intrusion and practically dares you to grow a pair and set the cruise.
Everything it does it does SO much better than the Marauder it's not even funny.
The Marauder is good for getting in and being loud/raucous then putting it back away for the next time I feel like being a 16 year old.

At 30K this guy is competing with ultra low mileage E39 M5's and E55 AMG's. Gonna be a tough market especially considering he is going to have to find a cash buyer.
I'd like to see him get it as it'll make it that much easier to justify trying to sell mine for 18-19 next spring but I don't see it happening. Mid-low 20's are more realistic.
    13 Sierra Denali - Tune/exhaust
80 International Scout - Midas conversion, 4" lift, 33's and lockers.
    71 C10 SWB - H/C/I LQ4, S476R, FTI 3700, etc...652rwhp @ 8#.
70 Jaguar XKE - 4.2 DOHC I-6, 4-speed, original paint, interior, etc...42,000 original miles. Stone stock.
    68 Charger R/T-#'s matching, 493/727/3.91
    68 GTX - #'s matching 440/4 speed/3.54 Dana 60. Manual steering/manual brakes...all go, no whoa
68 Coronet Wagon - 512" w/ported RPM heads, big solid cam, Keisler TKO 600, getting a Novi 2k this winter. Shooting for 650+ at the tire in a stock looking wagon.

No, I'm not! someone else brought that up, its a Marauder Forum so I respect that but I have also driven and raced the other cars on a track - I know there is no comparison. Doesn't mean I can't or don't like one over the other.

So guys, I don't want to derail this gentlemen's thread because of comments that I have made....... All I was saying is that you would be spending less money for equal/close performance if you were to purchase a Marauder equipped the way his is........

I just want to see a vehicle of this quality go for all it can, and was making suggestions how to position its attributes. We ea. have a frame of reference to justify our POV's. Thats what makes cars fun. My opinion is just that an opinion... Its no worse or better than anyone elses.... I have driven many high dollar exotics & performance sedans as well and at speed..... In my opinion a low milage Marauder built like this is a better value than an 80-100k mi. MSeries or AMG (because thats what would be out there if you compare 03-4's The ones with lower miles, still go for a $$$$).... If you went newer M's & AMG's prices of these vehicles make this Marauder even more compelling.

Again sorry for the derail.... I like you all, was trying to offer a strategy so that the car sells for the top dollar it obviously deserves.

Why is it that people always derail a F.S. post? This is a Marauder board, the car that will potentially be for sale is a Marauder. What ever someone else owns means squat as to the sale of this car. If you like your "other" ride, great, STFU about it in someone else's thread. He wanted to know what it was worth, not what you thought about your own car.

Off my soap box, and a bump for a beautiful Marauder.

My advice? "Ask for what you really want"..... You have a 2 year window as you stated.......Put it out there and see if someone steps up... I bet someone will if you market it well.......

Its an M5 beater, and AMG beater, a CTSV beater. With more space than any of them, more reliable and cheaper to maintain......

If you want a quick sale, then sure, price it that way. If you want what you want, then it will come down to the condition of the car as rare as this, the set up that wets the appetite and lastly..... Patience......

Good luck! You have a beautiful ride...You should get what you want for it

Goes without saying that this DTR is great! The OP knows what he thinks the car should sell for. (Not sure why he aked for help with price.) Everyone is going to have an opinion and few will confirm what he already thinks. Our Marauders are a niche car. They have not reached collector status (except for those of us who own and love them and can't find OEM parts anymore.) I'd say it's more of a cult car at this point. Ask anything you want for it and I hope you get it. Mine is priceless.

35k seems a fair price for your ride, for a Marauder fanatic, and with a two year window, I believe you'll get it......GLWS!

    Super nice ride ...

The best color combo they made IMHO.

Still miss the DTR I sold something terrible & not in the position to replace it ...

But I do pray to the lottery gods on occasion.

Just wondering (as I'm sure others are) .....

    Moonroof or no ?.

    Not a bad thing.

    Y'know - as much as I love moonroofs ...

I've always been rather vocal on how they were never really done right on these cars.

While I still held out for & sought out one with the MR vs without when I bought mine .....

My OCD for small details seems to be getting worse as I age & I think I'd actually prefer to have one without the MR at this point.

Again great looking car w/one of the best mods there is.

I'll certainly be sure to save this thread.

And if anyone wants to pray for me that I come into a lot of money .....

I wouldn't hate them for it.
