    Car is DONE
    I ended up replacing the oil adapter gasket for him too, changed the oil and drove it to the sel serve car wash to spray the years of oil and grime off the crossmember and surrounding areas.
    (I do that for nice customers that don't call me every day and show up with all the money) lol

    Oh yeah, I cleaned your wiper cowl out as well...

    I understand that. So it comes out but wont go back in? Or do I assume the engine was moved to remove the cover?

    Sorry for the newb questions, Ive never had a a cam cover off a mod motor.

    I can get the cam cover out with ease, engine position untouched.
    However, it may or may not booger the AC box insulation just a bit.
