I raced one not that long ago. Even though i lost i was highly un impressed and it was the 425hp 6 speed and he was ripping every gear. Im virtually bone stock. Was on his bumper till 3rd. A sc marauder woulda destroyed it. But seeing as you only raced 1/8th and not a 1/4 , your race was over just about when the camaro was about to start pulling away.

Tips to try, let some air out of 555's if they are slipping ~28 lbs is good.
Brake torque on the line to 2800 rpm, then launch it (harder)

Yeah, that's what I was counting on! I figured it could be a close race in the 1/8th, but the 1/4 would have been ugly, lol!

Thanks for the tips! I should bring an air tank next time so I can pump them back up for the ride home! Last time I was there, I brake torqued the car to over 2000 rpm. Times weren't that great. Mostly because of the BFG's that were on the rear. Others suggested leaving off idle, so I left around 15-1600 as a compromise this time.
