    BOC - Mooresville Ford May 5th, 2012

Hey folks, never too early to start planning.

Last year there were 10 Marauders at the show; it would be great if we could top a dozen this year.

A special shout-out to the Southern Marauders, would be great to have a couple of you come on up; maybe we could make a weekend of it (lotsa stuff to do around metro Charlotte: ZMax, NHOF, Bikini's Bar and Grille for dinner and drinks, etc.).

Tom and I could prolly coordinate lodging at an area hotel if there's interest, just let us know.

So far its a definite for me to attend the BOC. A good opportunity to exercise my car for the trip, but won't be entering it to the car show.

It's a great time showing it off with the rest of the group. NBD if the car's not "showroom" we can all pitch in and help clean it up a bit, if need be.

The reason for it is that my Marauder is presentable {especially after a wash} but its got paint issues in the front bumper cover {bug damage from the previous owner}, minor damage on the rear bumper cover {also from the previous owner} etc., unless there is a "battle scarred" section of show entries to qualify, my slow restoration schedule of the car to be up to showroom/show standards won't be in time for this show.[JMHO] Also, I'll be coming from Greensboro after working 10+ hrs. driving a big rig during 3rd. shift in Lexington,Charlotte,Monroe & Concord that I planned to check out the cars at the show & meet other MM owners for @ 2-3 hours, then head back home later for some I may be persuaded to stay longer if there is some 100 octane coffee close by. BTW, the engine in my Marauder could use some cleaning.

It's about 3 1/2 hours Dave. I think I might be up for this, the girlfriends parents live about an hour north of Charlotte. Could score points with the parents and a Marauder event? Sounds like a win to me
