    Need some help

Got my engine back in my car but somehow the bell housing bolts are MIA. Anyone know what size / thread bolts I need? Can't find them anywhere. 1963 marauder

I bought those bolts today from a hardware store and they are way to short. I'll try a longer bolt and see if that does the trick

Well it's kinda complicated cause I guess in 64 they started using the "C" transmissions and prior to that they were merc o matic so I think the bolts are different. I'm just gonna buy longer bolts and hope that works.

You have to know whether they are sheer strength, or tensile strength, in this application, I would say they are sheer strength, because of the torque of the engine, but may also be tensile, do not buy bolts from the hardware store, unless they are graded to the application.
