Not really sure if I would recommend the shop or not, I dont really know what a fair price for this kind of work is. I know they had to replace some springs and most of the foam and added new burlap to the bottom.

I provided two of the three kinds of vinyl on the seat that I also paid for and he provided one which came to about a yard or less of vinyl. The quality of the work is very good though, but real expensive.

These guys do cars for rich people though, my seat sat at his shop for a couple of months while i got the vinyl and in going there I saw cars they work on that were awesome. My favorite was a 64 Galaxie but nothing on it was original. Not sure what kind of motor but it was chromed out and looked nice.

They told me after the inside was done the man would have close to a hundred thousand dollars in the car and it looked it. He said the guy gave him ten grand up front but that wasnt even going to cover the entire interior, the fabric they were using was like a hundred bucks a yard. I also saw a 50 something chevy truck that was bad ass, also very expensive.

Wont be going back there myself but am happy with the work and he let me pay him off over the course of a month and didnt give me a hard time or anything.

Hey what is a good material for tack stripping for using a headliner, the same you make a door panel out of or something different, they look very similar, at least what is there now. Anyone have any experience with that I'd appreciate a heads up but if not I'll figure it out. Thanks again guys for all the help. Hey Kirk if I fly you down you think you could help me with my engine????

Don't think so, they had sheets of vinyl and made an almost perfect duplicate of the original and I saw the old one that came off it so custom I guess???

    Honestly I'm not sure Marty
