    The level 2 kit replaces all the "soft" parts in the transmission with upgraded parts, kevlar bands, clutches, etc.

    dennis told me it also came with a hardend shaft,i must admit i'm not really sure what that is.

    I believe is the input shaft that everyone breaks in half during spirited driving.

    Well Mangs, after all this the point of this is to make a "BULLETPROOF" 4R70W or 4R75W is the following

    1- Do the J-mod or at least buy a valve body with J-mod done if you don't feel confident to do it yourself.

    2- Do the Overhaul with the Level 2 kit from DR.

    3-Replace the stock trans pan for a race one with extended tranny oil capacity.

    4- If you want to keep cool the transmission install a trannny Cooler or have it in combination with the stock one.

    If i'm not wrong I can understand that this are the 4 steps to make a Panther tranny, stronger, Harder, last longer if I forget something or any expert here understands to add feel comfortable to post, my purpose of this is to clear the doubts and post the quicker and detailed steps to do a really overhaul job for a 4R70W & 4R75W, thank you really to all Marauderers tech experts Mangs that contribute in this thread. YOU'RE THE BEST.

    Watch that your trans cooler does not block/throw heat on the radiator driving up coolant temps. Trans is less expensive than engine.
