    Tune question?

I recently had my battery unhooked and I am wondering how long must I wait til I can swap tunes. Is it until the drive cycle resets itself or does it even matter.

You can swap tunes without waiting, but because the battery was unhooked it will take some time for computer to relearn your driving habits.

Just stick the tune in the car and get to driving.

Did you get a new tune or you mean swapping from stock to another? I have Lidio's tune, came with the car. I'd like to feel what the difference between a couple of tunes on the forum.

I have the stock tune in the SB from last Fall when it needed to go through inspection. Never switched it back. When I had the throttle body off the car and was waiting for a new IAC I unhooked the battery so someone wouldn't mistakenly try to start it. When I hooked it back up I thought about putting the Mo's tune back in it. It occurred to me maybe I should wait for a complete drive cycle to occur so that all the monitors could set themselves. Sounds like it might not matter.

Each time you load a tune the drive cycle starts over.

Speaking of starting drive cycles over, my state inspection expires Tuesday. I hate going to stock for even a few days.

Makes sense. I wasn't sure if the battery disconnect factored in to it.

Old dog learned a new trick.

    Thanks.
Mo's tune going back in tomorrow

I have passed emission test in GA every year with Trilogy and Jeff/Martyo tune. Never had a problem.

Ga is probably not as ingrained with California emissions standards like NJ is.

I've tried passing with a tune installed when I first got the car. Doesn't pass here in RI.
