Arrow Pictures From New Hampshire 2011 Meet

These pictures are from our New Hampshire 2011 Meet. Some of us checked in to our hotel on Thurs. night and after Happy Hour in the lobby we headed out to dinner at Ella Coya Grill. On Friday morning we went to explore America's Stonehenge in Salem, NH.

On Friday afternoon, after lunch at The Lobster Boat in Merrimack, we toured the Anheuser Busch Brewery. The grounds, visitors center and stables were beautiful! We especially enjoyed seeing the magnificent Clydesdale horses!

The New Hampshire Motor Speedway held it's Car Show (with professional judging) on Saturday. MM.net was represented by 6 Marauders from both model years and in 3 colors! We got A LOT of attention from the public and were kept busy answering lots of questions. Many had heard of the cars but few had seen even one in person! We were all extremely thrilled and proud during the awards presentation, when it was announced that our very own Billboard (Bill) took 2nd place in his class (American Cars '70 and above) with his Black Marauder, newly purchased in January!!! Way to go Bill!!

This is our 2nd year for the New Hampshire Meet. We had 4 cars and 9 people last year and 6 cars and 12 people this year. If we can register 15 Marauders next year, we will have our own class! So it would be great to have you there!! I will start posting up for next years meet about 3-4 months before. It's held about the same time every May.

Besides the thrill of seeing Bill get his trophy, we all enjoyed the thrill of taking several laps on the Miracle Mile at New Hampshire Motor Speedway!

Billboard registered the day of the show and unbeknownst to him he registered in the 1970 and later American car group and he took home a trophy. The rest of us took the forums advice and registered as Muscle cars and we were thoroughly trounced by the Chevelle guys. All 3 trophies in Muscle class went to Chevelle's as did the Best in Show. I must admit the BIS Chevelle was beautiful and I'm not a real fan of the breed. Mustangs had their own class but were not required to register in it. Not sure about the Camaro guys but I did notice that all the Chevy's were SS's no matter the make

The weather kept a lot of people away(including Herr Doomie)... hoping next year the weather is more cooperative and we can grow our MM representation in what ever class we pick. This years overall turn out was about half of last years but the weather was a complete 180 from 2010.

All in all we all had a great time and Paula and I hope that some of you who didn't or couldn't make it this year will consider coming out next year. And to those of you who have come out every year we thank you for your continued support.
