Not a bad deal but expect to put some $$$ into it pretty quickly because with 100k+ miles that motor is a ticking time bomb

I think Mike checked that car out or at least called the owner, it was discussed some when I posted up the link. If only I had 12K lying around, that'd be the perfect door back into the Marauder world since it's right in my neck of the woods.

Mine will have about 110,500 miles when I supercharge. If it can't handle it then it just wasn't meant to be. Kind of like everything else in life.

Oh, it's meant to be. Even if you have to do a new motor.... eventually!

His has 117k miles. If a motor has over 100k miles it is typically questionable on how long the motor will last when boost is added. I'm not saying its guaranteed to blow up in a month or two but it is not likely it will last for years on end. Eventually it would need to be forged/rebuilt depending on boost level. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain these motors are built considerably stronger than the 2V's...but in the end its always a toss up

My S/C car has 88,000 miles! Something tells me it is in far better shape than most N/A's out there... The plus side to a S/C is you don't have to beat the snout out of it for it to perform. Just take a look at some of the N/A videos!

Sounds like a super deal to me.

No arguement from me, mine has given me so few problems I'm starting to think it is just waiting to explode on the dyno to make up for being awesome all these miles. if so, so be it, I regret nothing.

Exactly as underlined above^^^^^--just push on the pedal and it just does it faster most all the time without hitting the snout so to speak---!!
