    Blueish smoke after wot :(

Went wot on the highway and when I let off a pretty good cloud of blueish smoke came out behind the car. Checked the oil catch can and pretty clean. No oil in the piping after the centri. Thinking leaking internally through valves or what have you. Gonna pull plugs tomorrow and get a compression test next week. Any thoughts from the real mechanics would be nice lol. Oil is at a normal level.

Sure the smoke was blue and not blackish.
Could have just went rich when you stomped on it.

Blue Smoke says valve seals to me too.

I thought the PI Heads were supposed to be the fix for this...I know the 4.6L SOHC prior to 2001 was plagued with the problem at or before the 100k mark.

My 1993 CV PI starting doing this at the 135k mark...just when I was looking at repair and labor issues , the car got totaled by an off duty Mail Man whom blew through a stop sign in my neighborhood....that was the most profitable insurance settlement Ive ever had , with no injuries involved thank goodness.

Start with reading the spark plugs to see if it is one problem hole. It sounds like you're pushing a stocker pretty hard. A performance engine will have more cylinder wall clearance.
