    Ken's New Dyno Numbers!

Ken had some more goodies installed. I think my car does better with less boost up top because of the ported heads, ported Eaton and 98 Cobra cams. Interesting how close to a stock GT500 the numbers are...

    Ken's before and after:

    Ken's vs. mine:

    Ken's and mine vs. a stock GT500 :
(all three CF:STD and smoothing 5)

    11.931 @ 116.33 (MT ET Streets)
    12.073 @ 118.43 (Nitto 555)

I love the smell of Nitromethane and rubber in the morning!
    Drag racers prayer:
As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride." -Amen

Your heads should be asking for more boost if they were ported correctly.

Next spring, the new (another new engine, slighty lower cr) engine will have even better heads, Crower Stage 2 blower cams, ss valves, and 17+ psi until I get a TVS... Oh, and this engine being rebuilt like superman... happens to be the engine out of the last Marauder made...

What Goodies did Ken get? Looks like longtubes ~50hp or so.

Perhaps he could change his name to "Speed Racer"... Racer X.

    File # 59 is Ken's MM
    # 11 is Mine
    #2 is a stock 2007 GT500

Ken's is an 04 SB that I helped install a Trilogy and Aluminator in last summer. He has since installed a lower and upper pulley, 60lb injectors, BA3000 and SW LTs just went in. In the following weeks, the rest of his exhaust will be 3" all the way. I'll see if he'll chime in with the exact specs!

New numbers today, 10/10/12. 440Hp and 484Tq. Complete Stainless Works LTs from stem to stern. 3" pipe all the way! The previous dyno was with SW LTs to x-pipe temporarily going to the stock pipe/mufflers/exhaust tips. I should have got vid of the rear. Sounds mean as all hell!

    Beans for lunch, sorry.

You mean at 24 secs in? Just fuel tip-in. I don't hear anything unusual.

Ported heads do little for power, correctly ported or not. I have numerous examples of FI combos that gained no hp with the addition of Livernois CNC ported heads, both their stg 2s and stg 3s.

I'd like to see a dyno comparison at the same boost levels.
