I really like both setups! They both will create plenty of power and be a lot of fun to drive. Switching for me was just a personal decision and I'm glad I did. Either way you decide to go you will enjoy and that's a promise.
I did almost 5 years and a bunch of miles with 0 issues. I definetly would feel comfortable with a centri with a good tune at or just below 500. The nicest thing with a centri blower it isnt taxing the motor all the time just when you want it to. But like others said either way you cant go wrong both are awesome & alot of fun.

Ok spill the beans? What SC you going with?

2003 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 LQ4 6.0L LT 4WD
Cognito leveling Kit, Fox 2.0, BFG KOA2 Radial All Terrains, Magnaflow, K&N and 4.10 gears
go with gears and a stall first and then see what you think.
I have 476 at the rear wheels and have had no issues (knock on wood) over 60k miles worth of fun, but I think if I had to do it again, I'd go with a stall first, gears second and no SC. But as others mentioned if you go with an Eaton then don't bother with the gears or the converter just SC it and enjoy

Eaton swap, gonna drop the boost level a hint just to take some stress off. Once I get the parts together, it and my heads are going to a friend for some work :-). We are gonna sit down soon and lay everything out so he can start working on a grind for the cams too. Then just a few other treats which should be followed by alot of tire smoke

I gathered %90 of parts before selling them. If I was to do it again I'd know where, how, what to start looking for. Will be easier next time around. Go Eaton!!

It truly is tempting to get it, and I know everyone says the rest of the stuff that is missing is interchangeable is with the Eaton swap parts but I honestly don't know enough about that system to confidently spend $1800 followed by another 2k to get all the way to one part that does not work and no one with the other 250 of them made will be willing to separate with it.
Its just alot of investment on something With nothing more than some screen names arguing if it will work.
