Best way to remove rear badge?

I know this probably has been asked long ago. Can anyone advise me on how to remove the rear badge?

Fishing line used in a sawing motion. Remove excess adhesive tape. There is a hole behind it for an Alinement pin in emblem.

for those reading, my body guy just used some plastic scraper like tool, it wiggled right off.
Remains of sticky were on the trunk, he peeled backing from Colex badge and stuck the new one right on. 45 seconds, max. Same emblem, FTW....
