question: will "return to stock" with tuner reset OBD systems?

    Hey all,

trying to get the marauder smogged soon. Now I know the STOCK tune file must be on the car in order to pass, and I also know that anytime you CLEAR DTC CODES with a scanner the OBD systems are reset, and it must be driven through proper drive cycle. Otherwise it will not pass. My question is this: say I have no check engine lights on, no codes, and the drive cycle is completed, while my MO tune is loaded on the car. If I return to stock and bring it to the smog shop, will the OBD system monitors still be online? or will I have to start all over and complete another drive cycle.

Does your MO tune have any of the monitors turned off? If not it will pass with the tune.

It will have the p1000 code. You will need to do a drive cycle.

Mine passed with Zack'a tune several times. I am sure MO's tunes would pass as easily.
