just out of curiosity how long did it take you to get most of the parts?
^^^^^ Yup.
I planned on 18 months for the parts gathering phase, actually it ended up only taking around 14 months to round up everything, but the point is it can take awhile, depending on your finances and parts availability.
A lot depends on how patient you are, how much you're willing to spend and how much you're willing to shop around through various Mustang and Ford performance sites. The more you shop around, the more likely you are to find good stuff reasonably priced, but it takes some effort. The old saying, "Fast, Good, Cheap; pick two" certainly applies to finding parts for an Eaton swap.
For example, one of the hardest parts for me to find used was the intercooler manifold. It took me almost 6 months to find one. OEM though Ford they're over $300, but I kept looking and finally found one (with the nipples, o-rings, and gasket included) for $80, so it was well worth the wait.
Another suggestion, FWIW, is buy up all the ancillary parts first, and then concentrate on getting the M112. Most everyone does it the other way around (myself included), but the blower's about the easiest part to find; it's the other stuff that's harder to locate.
