Selling or keeping yours in the near future?

WOW I am surprised by how many long-time members are selling their cars. I understand the desire for something new and quicker but if you have kept the car this long why all of the sudden the huge flow of great cars for sale?

I tried a while to keep up having quick cars but I just have less cash than many. If I kept chasing for that quicker car I would be perpetually broke and always unhappy.

I enjoy the Marauder for what it is. I keep my cars for a long time and have no desire to leave the site or sell my car anytime soon.

It seems that the same is happening to the Marauder that happened with the 94-96 Impalas when they reached the 10 year old mark.

Lets see how many will remain after the flood of sales pending.

I sure hope to keep mine (going on 11 years), at this point I think it would be silly for me to try to replace it with something else as I am still raising kids and need a decent business car which fits both my needs (as well as is fiscally responsible). Hopefully in the near future I can keep it but replace the daily driving with something new or newer.

I wont be selling mine, I have way too much money into that I will never get back. I hope to give it to my daughter to drive when the time comes, if she will even want the old hooptie by then. I would love to pick up the marauders that have been going up for sale as of late....someone will be getting an amazing deal.

I'm not an MM owner, but looking at my 03 TBird, I barely use it, and when anything goes wrong, the dealer welcomes me with open arms.

But, I just can't get off the dime to sell this own owner, 22,000 mile garage queen

The hassle I went through selling my daughter's 99 Mustang back in 2008 was a big PITA. Shysters, crooks, buyers that were willing to buy the car for X dollars and never asked to drive it!.

One sleazeball tried to tell me he was looking for a car for his daughter, but really didn't need to drive the Mustang (?????).

Not selling mine. Might give them away. Still plan on getting buried on one of mine. I can understand the age thing and parts thing. If my wife got rid of old things with bad parts I would be first on her list.

Keeping mine for as long as possible, then passing it down to a close family member.

    "Keep em in da Family".

Excellent ride, that I finally was able to own several years back (2009), & rare to boot!

Not too many Rauders here in Honolulu.

I get whiplash when I see another & makes me feel so good that I have one cool ride.

Well, I sold my first Marauder about 5 years ago, and regretted it every moment since. Now that I have Marauder number 2, I will keep it I until I can't drive anymore. It won't be my only car, just my favorite.

Plus, I'm planning on being around when all of the older Marauder owners estates sell their parts hoard for pennies on the dollar. No offense to the older guys here.

What Do You Mean Keeping Or Selling

Will be keeping mine as along as the sun shines...actually I will be preserving it for my 10 years old grandson who hate my Marauder. No major mods unless he decides he wants to when he takes over. And hopefully it will be part of the family for a very long time. I have owned it for 4 1/2 years >>>July 2010

Mine will not have a second owner. Ever.

With all of this talk about hard to find parts, NOW is the time when we have the most parts available. So, the time to drive it, break it and fix it could not be easier now.

It's not like Ford will suddenly care enough to start producing parts in 20 years from now. They would rather sell you a new car, than keep fixing/maintaing your old one.

Preserve it for what? To look at?

    No thanks!
