This was my third Marauderville event, and folks let me tell you it they are great. These events encompass for me what owning a marauder is all about.
I am semi-local so I skipped the downtown tour and spent the afternoon with Zack. Thank you for opening the garage and telling the stories.
Friday Volo was such an interesting place full of history. It was a great mix of a studio tour and car museum and some great old stuff all in one place. I easily could have spent longer their but the wine was calling me.
OH MY! Lynfred Winery was AWESOME! The tour guide was the BEST I ever had at any winery and I have been to more than a few wineries. There was not a bad drop in the house.
Supper at a local place with such history linked to route 66 was a great tie in since we drove on so many parts of the mother road during the event.
We all had our doubts about the Autobahn event but it was far more enjoyable than expected. 25 minutes on the track was great. Personally I enjoyed trying to run the entire loop without using the brakes at all. The car was rolling pretty hard around the track doing it that way.
The car show was great. So many people came with great displays. For cars that are 10 to 12 years old owners show that they still care about the car. A special thank you to Chapel 1 and Mike Brown. Taking best of show was the icing on the cake!
The awards event was slow going but once it started Elvis rocked the place. Then the clowns came in Steve, Kevin and Greg. I was a sponge listening to them I had no idea how late it was I was having too much fun!
Thank you to the Planning team!
    Thank you MM.net!
