    HANKOOK VENTUS ST RH06 295/45/18

Any reason why I shouldn't get these tires? I can get 2 to the door for $304 vs buying the Nitto NT's for $495 installed locally. Just curious if anyone has any reason why these would be a bad choice. Thanks in advance

I'm on my second set. First set still had enough tread to pass state inspection but started to dry rot after 5 or 6 years.

They are a great year round tire. I've had no issues in any type of weather.

They have a 420 wear rating. Haven't seen anyother tire with a rating as high or higher.

Also have 255/45's on the front.

I run 20" Hankooks on the wife's Charger.

They grip well in normal driving conditions. NOT a drag radial.

Grip is term full of loose interpretation, At 400+ horsepower you can blow the tires off anything.

That's good to hear. I guess I'll order them. Any pics on the car? Would like to see what the side wall looks like on the factory wheel

Yea I know. Drag radials are out the question.

It will be far better suited to a 9.5" rim width, but these are stock wheels

Thanks for the pics. I like the way they look on the stock wheels. Would like that same sidewall on the widened wheels too for a little rim protection.

I just hung up with weldcraft, and they said my wheels are in surgery as we speak. They should be shipping out Thursday. Ordered my tires this morning.

    You'll love the Hankooks.

No objectionable noise from either the front or rear. I have a different Hankook series on the front.

the issue is sidewall wobble because the tire is bulged like a donut on my stock rim. I had a narrow Hankook before the 295, and it handled noticeably better with correct sidewall to rim fitment.
If you are mounting 295s on a 9-9.5" rim = WINNING!
My Hankooks are quiet as any other quality tire I've owned. I buy them because they have been good tires on many applications - truck, car snow tires, these tall/wide tires.
