    DTR Issues?

After doing a bit of reading on the site I see alot of people making fun of the DTR Marauders....

Is there a mechanical difference to DTR's or is it just a dislike for the color? About to buy a DTR LOL!

    No mechanical difference.

Making fun in an attempt to mask their jealousy.

No! Not at all! It's the slowest looking color when going from 0mph to 0mph. That's it...

(Hence the saying: I'm going to beat you like a DTR headed stepchild!)

Nothing different at all except they are 2004 300B models. They got cheaper that year. No locking gas cap, no full size spare, clock in the radio, transmission wasn't as fun. Other than that, same car.

Are you saying the DTR is a joke?

Seriously, there is nothing different with the DTR when it comes to mechanical or reliability issues. Some of us just prefer the other colors better, like myself who thinks Dark Pearl Blue is the best color.

If I recall it started between one of the owners of this site who owns a DTR trashing talking another's Black MMThe other member one upped the owner and thus a story was born. No difference between an '04 DTR and any other '04 color.

    True, that.

However, as we all know the DBP cars are the class of the field...

HEY!!! Seriously now, out of pure curiosity, has anyone ever traded one color MM to someone else for another?

2003 or 2004 Marauders never had a locking gas cap. 2003 Marauders did have a remote fuel door release. The 2004 Marauders a an improved tranny and I believe a different stall torque converter.
