Addco 2196 Front Sway Bar - Quick Question

Quick question for those of you that have installed (either yourself or watched the install) the Addco front sway bar. Did you use the plates that came with it?

Ordered the sway bar and it came with bushings and bushing brackets, but not the plates that the instructions says it is supposed to come with.

I installed one on my previous marauder but that was 5-6 years and don't recall whether I used them or not.

I did some work to a marauder over the weekend and I did notice it had the plates,

Addco has been lacking in customer service lately. I got my front bar, but with the wrong size collars. After about a month they sent me some cheap pot metal collars. I ended up ordering some off amazon.

I ordered the bar from summit and they finally connected with addco today after almost a week of trying to get in contact with them. Addco is supposedly shipping out the plates to me...

Can't say enough about summit's CS because they have been in constant contact with me since issue was raised last week.

Addco 2196 Front Sway Bar - Quick Question

Below are the collars that came my sway bar. Do they go on the inside or outside of the bushing...the instructions didn't mention them nor did the install write up I saw mention them (I assume on the inside but please be gentle on me)?

Well, it's been 2 months and the plates have not shown up. In fact, summit contacted addco twice after the fact, and each time summit said they were sent out "a while back" but they would send another set. Unless there is someone in my neighborhood that is collecting these as they are delivered to my door, I don't believe summit ever sent them. Never had any issue with packages disappearing, and had a bunch delivered over the last 2 months.

Any issue if I don't install the plates?

I went over a year and a half without the plates installed with hard driving during that timeframe. I got around to putting them on and nothing had happened with no difference in the feel of the car. But it would be better to have them.
