    Two questions

I am ready to change my differential oil and will be using the Royal Purple 75/140 oil. My first question is, does anyone know the exact capacity of the differential. At $22 a bottle, I don't want to have to buy any more than I have to.

My 2nd problem is with my passenger side front window. For whatever reason is will not roll down or up with either the driver side master switch or the passenger side switch.

Is there a quick way for me to find out the exact problem?

    Thanks!

3 quarts will be enough. You won't use it all. Per the shop manual the capacity is 4.75 pints or 2.375 quarts.

Take a rubber mallet and as you are working the window switch smack the door panel (inside) so the motor frees up. Sometimes they get jammed.

If you do not have a rubber mallet just hold the down button and slam the door closed, that always works for me. then I try not to roll the windows all the way up.

A light bump with the bottom of my fist to the side of the door arm rest, while holding the window switch usually frees mine. I suspect the motor electrical connection develops resistance with age. Common problem with older Panther windows.

I think the motor gets jammed and the "bump" frees it up.

My passenger window will also stick.
    It is not the motor.
While holding the down button (someone else),
place you hands on each side of the window (with the door open)
and push down. This always unsticks my window.
If not, your motor may have died.

What you described is usually a "stuck" motor.
