    My Dyno Tune

Well I finally got my custom tune done..... as well as a tranny rebuild. I am running a Trilogy with a 3.2" upper and a +2lb lower with a SCT 2600 MAF and JLT CAI. The Final numbers were 357rwHP and about 480 torque ! I thought the HP should be up there higher but I know every dyno can measure differently too...

BUT my gas tank was pretty low when I took it in (I know it should be filled up for tunning but I didn't know they were going to keep it right away) and after I filled up with fuel the engine light came on saying its running too rich. So I have to take it back in. I know these cars can be a bit fuel starved at low fuel levels but they said its probably an O2 sensor ... but anyway it's awesome! Here is my current dyno chart. the dashed lines are the before lines.

He did a "safe" tune. He didn't do a 2 to 6k pull, tuned it rich and pulled spark in the upper end. With that torque, you should be in the 470hp range, but, safe is good!

    Cost Of Alternative Automotive Tune

Just curious if a trip to Michigan from Louisville would be worth the expense.
What do they charge for the service, and what sort of results could be reasonably expected on a normally-aspirated 03 MM with 110K on the clock?

Why not consider Mo's in Atlanta instead; might be closer.

If you're n/a with no other mods, figure a tune will get you to maybe 260-270 rwhp.

We'd be happy to help out with a dyno tune or you may be interested in one of our mail order tunes.

Let me know if we can help in any way.

Safe is very good but I wonder if having low fuel at the time made it a bit.... too safe, at least when I normally have a full tank. When I take it back in I'm going to see if he thinks we could squeeze a bit more out of her.

The tune is every thing. What you have is a piece of crap for a tune. Spend a few bucks in proportion to what your S/C costs and get a real tune.
